PCYip Linux (Version 0.9.1)

Introduction   Screen Shots   Free Download   Installation

Introduction

PCYip Linux is a small ELF distribution in only 3MB archive. It comes with Kernel 2.2.12 and many useful utilities. Some ready-to-install packages are available to enhance it's power. Normally, a Linux distribution needs repartition task which may make new "Linuxer" trouble. To install PCYip Linux, simply download an "exe" file and execute it. This allows you to experiment with Linux on your existing MSDOS/Win9x partition. You do not need to know anything about fdisk, lilo, fat16, fat32, ext2, bootdisk, rootdisk, etc.

The minimal hardware requirements for a PCYip Linux system are 386, 8MB RAM, 5MB on IDE HDD (using SCSI HDD for C: requires a little modification) on non-compressed DOS volume, VGA for X Windows.

香港人的 Linux! 只要 25M 就能安裝 Linux, X-Windows, KDE, games 及很多工具。
不須 repartition, 就算電腦初學者?#93;會安裝。
